AmbiAutomation is the Ambimat Group’s building-automation business. Its work starts from a practical observation: most commercial buildings already own capable air-conditioning plant, and the expensive part is not the equipment but the fact that nobody can see or control it centrally.

So the offering is retrofit-first. Rather than replacing a working VRV or VRF system, AmbiAutomation connects the plant that is already installed to an on-site automation server and a mobile application, so a facilities team can operate it from one place and see what it is actually doing.

How Ambimat contributes

AmbiAutomation is a focused business rather than a separate company, and the engineering underneath it is Ambimat’s. The HVAC bridge board is an Ambimat-designed product: it gathers data over RS-232 and RS-485 as well as over IP, and forwards it onward, which is what makes a mixed-vendor plant room legible to one system.

That design work sits alongside Ambimat’s wider Ethernet and cellular connectivity practice and its hardware design and manufacture discipline — the same team, applied to a specific industry.
