- This system interfaces to a computer and generates necessary clocks and command signals for Payload Operation during Ground testing and evaluation in absence of Spacecraft mainframe.
- The SIS is a subsystem of the Electro Optical Payload Ground check out and Evaluation Instrumentation.
- The system was realized with motherboard + daughter board concept to provide flexibility for future expansion.
- After being housed in a rack mountable 4U chassis the fabricated system was successfully subjected to a 168 hour Burn-in Test inside the laboratory.
