Achieves Point-to-Point Encryption Key Injection Facility Status

ID TECH has obtained the coveted P2PE KIF certification. As a recognized global leader in secure payment solutions, ID TECH today announced that the PCI Security Standards Council has officially certified ID TECH a Point-to-Point Encryption Key Injection Facility (P2PE KIF).

This latest PCI certification means ID TECH can now offer customers and partners a faster, more direct path to a PCI certified Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) Solution. With the new P2PE KIF certification, ID TECH becomes one of only 3 payment solution manufacturers globally with such distinguished Key Injection services.

ID TECH’s completion of the rigorous P2PE KIF certification procedure underscores the company’s commitment to industry leadership in secure payment solutions.

“Combined with our extensive portfolio of SRED-based payment solutions , encompassing MSR, contact-EMV, and contactless readers, the new certification means ID TECH is well positioned to help customers of all types achieve their P2PE goals quickly and economically,” said Bill Nichols, Chief Strategy Officer. “P2PE greatly reduces the number of applicable PCI DSS requirements thereby creating tremendous cost savings in this area.”

ID TECH’s SRED products provide secure payment acceptance into multiple verticals and applications. ID TECH’s 11 SRED certified payment solutions provide partners with various payment options for applications such as countertop payments, unattended payments, mobile payment and even payments in call center applications.

By being included as a Key Injection Facility on PCI’s Security Standards Council list, ID TECH becomes an official P2PE Component Provider whose goods and services can be leveraged by P2PE Solution Providers. This, in turn, means a reduction in security scope for merchants and quicker time to market.
